City blocks
This is a demonstration of a typical crowd pattern with three pedastrian lanes and two lanes for vehicles. The pedastrians walk around a block and they switch lanes in a random manner, sometimes they will even go off the block and try to cross the road.

Chasing dots
You are a blue dot, you move around the grid until you come across a red dot. You are "detected" as you enter the red dot's detection radius. Soon as that happens, the red dot will come at you until either 1) You leave his sight radius or 2) You get captured. See for yourself.
