(The cover art is slightly outdated, so the ESRB rating is RP (Rating pending). Colleague sent out a photoshopped version that says RIP instead, but it was too silly for me to use to make the plaque)
Over nine months of hard work, it was not an easy ride.
Skipped meals and sleepless nights, who dares say the effort has gone to waste?
They can say what they want to say about our game, about our company, about our team. They’ve been doing that since day 1 anyway.
We’ve accomplished something that is worth more than sale numbers and metascores – We made a game that we enjoy playing and we proved that we are a damn good test team. Did we take risks and attempt something that would have needed more time? Of course. But I would rather work on something risky and potentially revolutionizes the genre if done right, than to help put together a roster update for another sure-fire sequel that only keeps the budget people happy. Any day.
Nothing can be dismissed here, we didn’t let anyone make us think that we are doing a bad job during development, and we won’t ever let anyone tell us that we wasted our time on this.
The only shame here is now gamers will never be able to experience this game. They mocked, and look what they chased away now?

Press Start
Couple weeks ago, the first snow of the year arrived, and in large amount on a Friday night.
Hana just received her new driver’s license recently, so driving on roads full of snow/ice wouldn’t be safe for her. At the same time my rear wheel drive Mustang does not hold too well under these conditions too.. so on Friday evening a decision was made: We both bus, and spend the day at a mall located approximately at the half way point between our homes.
That way we get to doze off while we travel, and there’s no worrying about the roads being buried should there be snowfall in the middle of the day again, it’s a win-win.
I was excited, it has to be at least half a year ago since I rode on the train with the girlfriend.
So on Saturday, just as we expected the roads were white and pretty, but also a skating rink. I made sure I dressed enough and started walking towards the skytrain station. I forgot to mention another nice thing about using the public transport today – I wouldn’t have been able to take this panoramic (without putting me and everybody’s lives in danger anyway) if I was driving my car:
